Natalie Coughlin is back from Italy and back to her training regiment.

Greg and Laura Bennett are chasing an endless summer and head back to Noosa, Australia in a few days.

And youngest team member Slater Trout continues to go to school, work on his driving skills and of course, paddle, paddle, paddle!

Usually Workout Wednesday covers technical information about training, stretching and workout gear.  But this week, we switch direction a bit and head toward the inspirational.

Finishing an Ironman triathlon is an amazing feat for anyone, but what about at age 70?

Neurosurgeon Joseph Maroon did just that.  Dr. Maroon didn’t start training for triathlons until he was 40 years old and he’s raced more than 65 triathlons with seven of those being Iron-distance.  Most recently he crossed the finish line at Kona in 15 hours, 40 minutes and 31 seconds.
