After all the excitement of the Pan Pac swim meet things are pretty quiet in the world of watersports, so all of us here at H2O Audio, are taking this downtime to hit the beach!

The first annual Bullhead City Riverfest kicked off earlier this month. A jam-packed lineup of wakeboarding, wakeskating, skateboarding and bmx contests filled the schedule along with plenty of live bands and vendors to keep everyone entertained.
Large prizes and charitable spirits enticed pro riders from all over the country including Randall Harris, Ricky Gonzalez, Jeff Weatherall, Jacob Valdez, AJ Racinelli and just about our entire Arizona crew including Jimmy Wolf, Ben Christensen, Matt Coldren, Derek Borum, Tyler Nichols and more. Proceeds from the event went towards the local Boys and Girls Club and to put lights up at the Bullhead City skate park.

Yes, Dave Kalama will be up at Surf Monkey this Saturday and for a killer photo of Dave doing his SUP thing, check out this article in the San Diego Union Tribune.
We’re sure you all know about the First Annual H2O Audio Surf Monkey event up in Oceanside this Saturday, but just in case you forgot – we thought we’d remind you once again!
And don’t forget that our own Natalie Coughlin will be there, along with waterman extrodinaire Dave Kalama and World Champion Triathlete Greg Bennett.
And from a recent article in the San Diego Union Tribune, a little background on what Natalie is up to these days…
Eleven-time Olympic medalist Natalie Coughlin plans to swim in the 2012 Games at London. To reach that goal, she spent the past year staying out of the pool.
Coughlin will be at the Oceanside Pier tomorrow, participating in the H2O Audio Surf Monkey Challenge. The event features a variety of beach-centric races, including a 5K run, a swim/run duathlon, paddleboarding and one-mile swim.
Coughlin is passing on the swim. She’ll run the 5K, the first running event of her adult life.
