Thanks to Eric M. for this great pic!

We love it when our customers get creative, and fortunately, we see it pretty often.  Turns out people who want to take their music with them everywhere happen to be pretty resourceful folks.  Much like Eric M. who turned our Interval swim solution into a cycling solution with just a few inches of velcro and sent us this photo of his creation.  Happy biking in the rain Eric!

Have you signed up for our newsletter?   If not, you should, because this week you could have gotten $10 off some of our most popular headphones to get you out and training, rain or shine.

The Commander Scroll Wheel Control

It may sound like a character from an Oliver Stone movie but in fact it is the heart and soul of the H2O Audio housing.

Let me break it down for…

iPod scroll wheel sensors work by using an electrical phenomenon called capacitance. Whenever two electrically conductive objects come near each other without actually touching, their electric fields interact to form a capacitance. The human finger is a good electrical conductor. When you place your finger on the scroll wheel a capacitance forms between your finger and the metal wires under the scroll wheel.

The correct way to install and maintain your T-seal.

First off, it is extremely important to ensure that your T-seal is properly seated during each and every closure.

It’s a fact folks, 99.9% of all housing leaks are due to human error. Of course it’s less likely to happen to you because you’re reading this post, and the provided instructions….

Sweet!

The Break Down…

Prior to Use

1. T-seal is aligned in housing properly prior to closure.
2. T-seal and contact surface have been cleaned properly with a lint free cloth.
3. T-seal and contact surface are free of scratches and other imperfections.

Do not even attempt to take your H2O Audio product in the water if:

1. T-seal is twisted, or out of alignment during closure.
2. T-seal and contact surfaces have any dirt, lint, hair, sand, seaweed, twine, small crustaceans, you get the picture.
3. You see scratches or imperfections on the T-seal or contact surfaces.
