Where will you go with your waterproof playlist?
With so much of the country under sheets of ice and snow (and it’s even darn windy and cold here in San Diego!) we thought you might appreciate two and half minutes of warm tropics.
This video was shot from the perspective of famous surf photographer Clark Little. Make sure to turn up the sound (or pop on your H2O Audio Waterproof Headphones) for the full effect.
This Thursday’s random-ness is all about water illusions.
If you missed the post on Facebook, check out “Tarp Surfing”… Even landlocked folks can get barreled!
As the weather warms up, competition season kicks in Team H2O Audio has been busy, here’s what they’ve been up to:
Jenny and Morgan, the Destination 3 Degrees girls, have finished crossing of all of the Channels of the Hawaiian Island Chain! Successfully finishing their journey and raising funds and awareness about the impact of plastics on the worlds oceans, we couldn’t be more proud of helping these girls by bringing music to their journey. If you’d like to, you’re still able to donate to their cause.
Another group of H2O Audio paddlers made an impressive showing over the weekend, Mikey Cote and Eric Abbott of the the Wailupe Boys took 1st and 2nd place respectively, at the Malibu Downwinder paddle. Both guys finished the 7 mile paddle in just over an hour.
Coming up this weekend, both Michael Phelps and Natalie Coughlin will be competing in Charlotte at the UltraSwim Grand Prix. They’ll be 2 of the 12 Olympians who’ll be in the pool at the sixth stop of the USA Swimming Grand Prix Series. Also, Triathlete couple Greg and Laura Bennett will be racing at the Bay to Breakers Run in San Francisco. Best of luck to everyone! Make sure to check back next week for results.
Being in a kayak gives you great mobility and the opportunity to get close to nature, for the guys above…maybe a bit too close. Watch about their encounter with a Great White Shark!
It’s not as scary as a shark, but how big of a Tuna do you think you could reel in from your kayak? Click here to find out the record for the biggest tuna caught from a kayak. Think you can beat it? Get out your Capture Case and nano and film yourself giving it a try.
