Michael Phelps helped his American team trounce a European all-star team at the Duel in the Pool held in Manchester England this week. The U.S. team won by a 185-78 margin on Saturday. This is the last major meet before the Jan. 1 ban on high-tech polyurethane suits, and Phelps supported the ban by racing in an all textile jammer suit. His disadvantage was apparent in his individual races, but Phelps was still able to anchor the U.S. to victory in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay in a world-record time. The Olympic Champion wasn’t the only one breaking World Records, get more times and the full results of the Duel in the Pool from Swimming World Magazine.
