Q. How to perform the leak test?
A. Before utilizing the H2O Audio Waterproof Case and Headphones for the first time, it is highly recommended to perform a leak test.
- DO NOT INSTALL THE iPod INSIDE THE CASE FOR THE LEAK TEST.
- 01. Open case and visually inspect the case's T-Seal.
- 02. Verify that the T-Seal is fully seated and free of debris, then close and lock the case.
- 03. Plug in your H2O Audio Waterproof Headphones. When plugging the headphones into the case, rotate the plug a quarter turn as you insert it into the jack, this will release any air bubbles or pressure from the connection.
- 04. Immerse the case, (without the iPod) in water and soak for 30 mins.
- 05. Manipulate the controls during submersion.
- 06. Remove from the water, dry exterior, and visually inspect the case for any sign of leaks before opening.
- 07. Open the case upside down to prevent water from dropping into the case during opening.
- 08. After a successful leak test, install the iPod into the case and have a great time in the water.

A. All the H2O Audio Cases have a rating of 10ft/3m except for our DV Series, which has a depth rating of 200ft.
Q. How long can the H2O Audio Waterproof Case & Headphones stay in the water?
A. The H2O Audio Waterproof Case & Headphones can stay in the water as long as your little pruned fingers can withstand.
Q. How to maintain and care for the H2O Audio Waterproof Case & Headphones?
A. For long-term storage, store in a plastic bag out of direct sunlight. For more information please check your manual.
Q. The manual asks to visually inspect the case, what am I looking for?
A. Any damage or blemish on the T-Seal or opposing face of the case or lid can and will result in a flood if used. Examples of blemishes include: dirt, lint, sand, or any other obstruction between the face of the case and the contact surface of the seal. Examples of damages are: small cracks, punctures, scratches or other irregularities.
Q. What happens if the waterproof case floods?
A. It wont! Before using your H2O Audio Waterproof Case, it is extremely important to read and learn your user manual. All the H2O Audio Waterproof Cases have gone through a variety of tests to verify that it will not leak if cared for and used properly.
- Tips:
- 01. Ensure that the T-Seal is free from debris, is not “kinked” in any way and is seated completely in the contact surface.
- 02. Always use the H2O Audio Waterproof Headphones when using in or around water. The H2O Audio Waterproof Headphones must be completely plugged into the case to ensure it's waterproof (twisting the plug into the jack will help complete the connection).
- 03. Ensure the correct rails and player are being used with the correct case. Not using the correct rails and/or players will ruin the seal and will not be waterproof.
Rails are necessary for iV5 and the SV-iP4G waterproof cases.

Q. How long before an order will be shipped?
A. H2O Audio does its best to ship all orders as quickly as possible. If an order is placed before 1:00pm PST, the order will ship that day. If the order is placed after 1:00pm PST it will be shipped the following business day.
- Please be aware that orders shipped to an address other than the verified billing address may require extra processing time, 1-2 business days for additional security checks.
- H2O Audio can only process and ship orders Monday — Friday, excluding Holidays
H2O Audio does not ship or deliver packages on Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Weekend orders are processed on the following business day. Please take this into account when placing important holiday or special occasion orders.
Q. Can orders placed online at the H2O Audio Shop be canceled or changed?
A. H2O Audio ships orders as quickly as possible, changing or canceling an order after it is placed is not always possible. Please contact H2O Audio immediately at 1.800.708.6080 or 858.623.0339 to see what options are available.
Q. What if a product is backordered / out of stock?
A. In the unfortunate event that some of or all of your order is on backordered or out of stock it will be shipped as soon as the entire order becomes available, unless otherwise noted by the customer.

H2O Audio offers a flat shipping rate on all international orders:
- $19.99 - H2O Audio Saver via UPS in 7-10 days
- $39.99 - H2O Audio Express va UPS in 2-3 days

- H2O Audio does not ship to APO/FPO address
- International orders can only be shipped to the cardholder's verified billing address.
Q. What about Duty Charges?
A.Shipping charges do not include any country specific import duties. Duty rates vary by country. If you need to figure out your local customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, insurance, etc we suggest contacting your local customs facilities and inquire with them for the total charges of your package.
Q. I cannot find a distributor in my area?
A. You can always place international orders online at the H2O Audio Shop. Please keep in mind that we are constantly working to get more international distributors / dealers, and we appreciate your patience as we work to open service to your country. Q. What about International Pricing?
A. All prices shown on the H2O Audio web site are in U.S. dollars. If you need a conversion to UK pounds (GBP) or any other currencies, please refer to XE.com or a similar web site. Exchange rates change daily, and H2O Audio cannot be responsible for any loss incurred as a result of currency fluctuation.
Q. What if an international order is on backordered / out of stock?
A. International orders ship complete to save on shipping costs. If for any reason an international customer requests split shipments, a second shipping charge will be applied when the backordered items are available. Please contact support@h2oaudio.com or 1.858.623.0339.
Q. What shipping methods are used for international orders?
A. H2O Audio has partnered with UPS for delivery to most international addresses. When an order ships, H2O Audio will email you a tracking number,
allowing order’s to be tracked to the final destination. However for your convenience and to save you money on shipping we strongly suggest that you check the Store Locator for distributors / dealers in your area.

International shoppers using a credit or debit card can order online at the H2O Audio Shop or by phone. International orders can only be shipped to the cardholder's verified billing address.
Q. How to cancel an international order from the online H2O Audio Shop?
A. Unfortunately, H2O Audio can not cancel an international order that has already been shipped.
Q. How to return an International Order?
A. Before placing an order on the online H2O Audio Shop please be advised that international returns are both expensive and time-consuming. Many customers have had success selling unwanted items to friends, on Ebay or similar sites instead of paying the return shipping costs to the United States. H2O Audio will accept International returns for up to 30 days from the date the order was delivered.
- Customers are responsible for paying postage and insurance on any return package mailed to H2O Audio.
To send an item back, please enclose the H2O Audio invoice that arrived with your package. You may use any shipper you like, but we recommend purchasing tracking and insurance as H2O Audio cannot be responsible for lost return shipments. Please ship your return to the following address:

Once we receive your return package, please allow 1-2 weeks for processing. An email notification will be sent when the refund has been processed. A refund will be issued according to the payment method selected for the original order. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
