Natalie Coughlin

Multiple Olympic Medalist and World Champion

Natalie Coughlin won five medals at the 2004 Olympics and is one of only three American women to win five swimming medals at a single Olympics. She holds the current world record in the 100-meter backstroke and her talent and versatility have her positioned to become one of the most decorated female athletes of the 2008 Beijing Games. Coughlin graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with honors, where she continues to train with coach Teri McKeever.
