MP3 Player/Phone Fit Chart

Using this product on a Blackberry Tour 9630 with a Seidio Innocase, ie makes the Blackberry slightly larger.

Pro:
- It works!
- Good sound quality using with the H2O Surge Waterproof Sport Headphones


Con:
- Because of the larger size Blackberry, it’s kind of difficult to put into the Amphibx
- The side clip is difficult to open
- Can’t navigate the trackball, ie needs to setup the apps before inserting into the Amphibx
- Expense with Amphibx + Surge Waterproof Sport Headphones. $110 at Best Buy with both products. Hence only 4 stars

H2O Audio Note:
We make the side clip difficult to open on purpose. Difficult to open means it won't accidentally pop open underwater if you were to bump into something. Bending the case a bit can make the latch a little easier to open. (Posted on 6/22/10)

I've been using my armband for about 2 months now and first off I can't even begin to describe how great it is to be able to listen to music while swimming laps. The armband really isn't all too bulky and I found that I could swim comfortably with it on. One trick, though, is to make sure the headphone cord is running behind your neck otherwise you'll likely keep pulling the earphones out of your ears. You get used to it, though, and figure out how to swim.

The biggest issue I have is that it seems like when the case is closed and the air inside the case gets heated it appears to expand and create a bubble. It makes it very difficult to use the dial on an iPod, for example, to scroll or change the volume. This is my biggest complaint. All in all, though, I think it's a pretty good product.

H2O Audio Note:
There is a trick to getting your iPod loaded correctly into the armband. We suggest using your fingers to push the floor of the armband down to create a nice space in which to slide your iPod, then once you get everything properly situated, lay the armband on a flat surface and push the clear window down towards the bottom of the armband to eliminate as much air as possible before sealing the door. The key here is laying the armband flat and getting the clear membrane snuggled right up to your iPod. (Posted on 6/4/10)

I really love the Amphibx armband - I've had it for about 6 months, swimming about a mile a week and using it for walking a few times a week. This armband performs like a champ! The locking mechanism for the door is just a simple latch release which is kind of scary, but I've never had a problem and wouldn't see one as long as you're not knocking about into things in the water. It is bulky, and it will definitely make your arm sweat a bit out of water, but it doesn't its job wonderfully. Definitely a great product.

As someone who needs to have their phone with them at all times, the armband does its job. It keeps the phone dry and the touchscreen is accessible. My only issue is that is is a little bulky. As a kayaker, I found it easier to either put it on my PFD or deck than wear it. (Posted on 5/12/10)
