So Far So Good. Review by Kanefire
Overall Rating I recently purchased these underwater ear buds. I had bought the previous version before and was not satisfied with them because they were designed for divers who require equalization which means water gets in. I switched to another brand who who started the silicon sealing ear buds and liked them but they kept breaking. When H20 came out with these I jumped on them and they have lasted so far. Keep up the good work. (Posted on 4/7/10)

Fantastic ! Review by Mermaid
Overall Rating OMGosh, fabulous! The sound is actually magnified below the surface. Creating a unique volume which can't be duplicated externally. High, is my recommendation to any one considering using these under-water 'jewels'. Lap-swimming is, for me at least, all the more enjoyable thanks to h2o audio.

It's like your own underwater concert! Review by Samsonite
Overall Rating I have to say, I was a bit skeptical of using these out in the surf, but the idea of waiting for the next set with music was just too temping. So I got these headphones with an Amphibx Armband, suited up and headed out. I started paddling and really was amazed by the sound quality of these tiny little ear buds. Then a wave pitched right in front of me...the true test...I pushed my board under for a duck dive, and for some reason, I expected the music to cut out....but it didn't! Same amazing sound quality! The music plus the noise of the wave overhead, I totally came up giggling. It was the absolute coolest thing EVER. And don't even get me started on what it's like to ride a wave with your own personal soundtrack.....needless to say, I'm a Surge fan for life. (Posted on 4/6/10)

excellent sound, poor stability Review by Olli from Finland
Overall Rating The Surges come with excellent sound quality, only minus comes with the swim usability during the laps - the buds drop out of ears in every turn and head shake thru the water surface! I hope the R&D take a hint of my suggestion to proof the stability ;)))
H2O Audio Note: Hey Olli, We heard you! Headphones with built in cable strain management are our Surge Sportwrap Headphones. However, when swimming there are a few tips and tricks that can greatly increase the fit and stability of your Surge Headphones. Including, making sure you have the correct ear tip size, getting the headphones fitted and sealed while your ears a dry, and securing any excess wire by wrapping it around your goggle straps. Also, those with smaller ear canals find that the Surge Pro Mini is a better fit for them as the ear bud is smaller and lighter than these headphones. More fit advice and tips can be found in our FAQ section. (Posted on 4/6/10) -
Good Sound, poor quality Review by Mightykiter
Overall Rating I use(d) my surge headphones primarily for kiteboarding. Initially I was thrilled. They sound great and stay in better than any head or ear phones I had ever had. However, after about 15 sessions one of the buds worked intermittently and ultimately stopped working all together. I now have a set that only plays in one ear and am not in the position to buy a new set.

awesome, a tad bass heavy, needs mic Review by tekkster
Overall Rating As a heavy sweating long distance runner, most water resistant canal phones last about 6 months for me. I just sweat too much for too long a period on 6+ hour runs.
The surge, as fully waterproofed headphones have worked completely for about a year with no signs of wear and work as well today as they did the day I bought them.
My only regret is that the amphibx arm band can take headphones with a built-in mic, but h2oaudio doesn't make a version of Surge with a built in mic and remote control for music controls and making calls. What's the point of being able to use my phone in the Amphibx and not take or make calls?
It would be different if it was easy to take the phone out of the amphibx, but that's not something you want to do in a wet environment.
Make Surge canal phones with remote (volume control, play pause skip, and push button voice activation) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
H2O Audio Note:
Check out the newest addition to the Surge line, The Surge Contact Headset. Now you can take and make calls from the water! (Posted on 4/6/10) -
Excelente Review by Coli
